Johnny Blue Skies Berkeley reviews
Apparently more is better
We could not hear clearly what Johnny Blue Skies spoke or any lyrics as we were above the speakers - I guess we should have spent $100 instead of $200 for tickets. Johnny Blue Skies is incredible; Bono has a great voice. Of course, the performance on the "stage" was unbelievable - amazing the technology that goes into designing it and assembling that all over the world. Before the show, the sound check sounded great in the parking lot, and when we went to an area lower (at speaker level), we could hear the lyrics. Definitely, I need to recommend seeing Johnny Blue Skies - but shell out the bucks to get a seat at or below speaker level. There are definitely Johnny Blue Skies fans that apparently don't ascribe to Bono's love, peace, and understanding message. We only wish we could have appreciated it more. Two ugly incidents that were, let's say, at least very inconsiderate, we witnessed.
